Director’s References and Information

Kristen Williams

Kristen Williams is a pastor, teacher and itinerant minister based in Tauranga, with around three decades of ministry experience in New Zealand and overseas. Over the years, he has planted churches, led equipping schools, spoken at conferences and churches, and invested extensively in young people and emerging leaders. He has a particular passion for helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus, understand the work of the Holy Spirit, and become confident in living out their faith.

Kristen brings that experience to Flood School as one of its directors. His ministry has long centred on prayer, revival, spiritual gifts and equipping believers for everyday ministry, with an emphasis on creating space for people not only to learn, but to put what they are learning into practice.

Matt Lansdowne

Matt Lansdowne is a pastor, teacher and ministry leader with many years of experience equipping people to know God deeply and live out their faith with confidence. He and his wife, Renee, are the founders of We See Gold, a ministry with a strong focus on prayer, worship, missions and helping believers grow in their understanding of the Father’s love and the presence of God. Matt previously helped lead Bethel Church NZ and has ministered extensively through churches, conferences and training environments around New Zealand.

Matt has a particular heart for encouraging and equipping the next generation, helping young people recognise what God has placed in them and grow in courage, character and spiritual maturity. He brings that passion to Flood School as one of its directors, with an emphasis on practical discipleship, spiritual gifts and helping people move from simply learning about faith to actively living it.

Hannah Wilmshurst

Hannah Wilmshurst is the founder and senior leader of The Flood Movement and serves on the senior leadership team at Aspire Church in Nelson. Originally from the UK, Hannah has spent many years sharing the Gospel in churches, on the streets and through community outreach, with a particular passion for evangelism, revival and seeing people encounter the love and presence of God. She is also a prophetic minister and is involved with the New Zealand Prophetic Round Table.

Hannah’s heart for Flood School grows out of a wider commitment to both evangelism and discipleship. Through The Flood, she has helped bring churches and ministries together across denominational lines, while developing opportunities for people to be equipped, encouraged and released into ministry. Following the 2025 Flood stadium event, she was also part of establishing Jesus School alongside Matt Lansdowne and Kristen Williams, creating a space for young people to grow in theology, faith and practical discipleship.
