The Flood Movement

Who We Are

We are a team of believers based in Nelson, NZ, passionate about bringing radical hope, love and freedom to people’s lives through the power of God.

We believe that His power and love can impact and transform whole communities and even nations. Our team is made up of people from all across New Zealand and other nations, hungry to see generations live in the restoration and hope that only Christ offers. 

Why 

We love because God first loved us. We do what we do because we all have a story of how God brought freedom and hope into our lives and now we get to share that with others. 

Whether it is reaching out to the community by being the hands and feet of Jesus through food boxes for families or coats for schools or gatherings and events. All of it is because we want to love and reach people, just as Jesus did.

What we do 

We run projects and events across Nelson to see God’s love outworked both powerfully and practically by reaching into areas of need. We have a heart to see community positively impacted, where peoples lives are changed and there is a great sense of belonging.

We believe in caring for our region by bringing hope, support and healing wherever it may be needed. We regularly go out onto the streets to provide community support.

At Christmas we gather charities and churches together to bless the community with free music, food, family fun and wellness. We believe in making an impact through the generations leaving a legacy for others to follow.
